Nice touch

Nice touch over the weekend.
Won a live tournament for £3100
Been planning to rebuild a decent bankroll, and that's a very nice start.

Dusk Till Dawn Super50 (£50+£8 buy in)

I'd normally prefer to play the heads up, but deal was done as it was 4:30am and my opponent had just tripled up knocking 3rd and 4th place runners out in one hand. Thought it was wise to chop it there and then.

We took £3100 each and I got the W because I was a slight chip leader.

My previous best cash was £2500 from a DTD Super50, so this tournament has been good to me.

There's three Super50s this weekend, and I'm planning to play all three.
The weekend after is the Monthly £300 which I'll be playing, then mid-May is the Grand Prix.
expecting 1600 runners over 5 Day 1s.
1st prize could be in the £40k area for a £50 buy in.

Nice to have a playable bankroll again.
Resisting the urge to leak it in the guitar shop :)

I'd also add, it was a real grind early on.
It's nice when the deck hits you in the face, but there's nothing so rewarding as a cash when you've had to grind your way there.
In the 1st 11 levels I had a missed AQ, a missed AK , and the only pair was J,J which I ran into K,K and managed to hold on to chips. Other than that, I was ducking and diving with filth.

Finally hit with an AQ in level 12, made a Full House with a J,10 in a blind on blind hand, and had a pair of 9s hold up.

Didn't see my first premium hand until the final table where I got K,K twice.

Played an absolute blinder, if I do say so myself.
