$1 Million pot - How true?

Post by pokerdudette »

I have been a poker fan ever since and I have been playing online for quite sometime.

I recently saw this promotion at Blindhit: $1 Million jackpot.

How true is that one? Because if it's really true I would really take my chances. Has anybody ever tried this one?

uhmm. hi there Pete. I was actually asking a question.

So, what do you think about these kind of sites that offer that kind of promotion? Is it even true?

I think you are an affiliate or promoter for that site and that this is thinly veiled spam.

They're shit is the answer.
Designed to raise a disproportionate amount of rake from gullible players.

I used to make a decent living off the 5 stage ladders on Ladbrokes, but only by preying on weak players playing out of their comfort zone.

I think a few other sites tried this sort of thing too.

Players are better off learning to maintain a bankroll and playing at the correct level in terms of their skill level.

The idea that $5 players get rich from poker is a fallacy. Poker is the hardest way in the world to make an easy living.

I agree.

If you wanted to post about poker on your first posts then you would go and find a poker site to do so.

ie Not a fruitmachine site.

Not that I am getting anything from them or whatsoever, It just so happened that I am playing there and have always been an online poker player.

But well, you made your point, I understood it and it was said well. Now that may not really be true then. Thanks by the way! :)

Photo of you holding today's newspaper, or you're a man peddling spam.

Must think we were born yesterday.
