Best hand you have lost with

Post by D4nBO »

straight flush for me 45678 (I had 4,5) of heats some one else had (9,10)
flop was 6,7,8 there was also Ah on the river so the pot was massive as you can imagine. Finished 8 out of 400 people tournament because of that hand.

Straight flushes are so rare I can count the number of ones I have had on one hand. THe chances are of somoene else having this too are so unlikely its unreal. Not surprised he lost on this hand. Virtually everyone would.

Best hand i've lost with is an Ace high flush. I was playing a real money pot, which had got up to about $60, with 2 of us eventually going about $25 each. I went all in on the turn, and all that was out was a low pair. Thinking he called with a 3 of a kind, i lost on the river to a full house. Basically he called my $25 with nothing more than 2 pair. Couldn't believe i'd lost, and wasn't a happy bunny! :x

I know, there's some idiots out there who'll call with anything, if only everybody would play sensibly. ie the way I want them to play.

We (me and Gran) were sitting on a full house, aces full of jacks. Guy called our all-in, he was sitting with full house, jacks full of aces. Then the guy picks up a 4th jack on the river and we go out the big money tourney on our arses.

I was heartbroken, but I got over it. Gran's still receiving counselling.

I lost with 4 of a kind to a straight flush... really wasn't expecting it at all either, i thought the site had broken when they moved the chips over to him.

Flop was K :h: K :s: 4 :s: , then a 9 :h: came out then a queen :h: .

Not sure what he was doing in the hand tbh, fishy little person he was.

How did you bet pre-flop and on the flop?

Stakes were $.25/$.50

I'd raised to $2 preflop with kings, the dude called with his TJ :h: .

I was first to bet so bet $4, which he called(still no idea why)

Then on turn bet $8

Then it all went in on the river, luckily only cost me $40.

I don't think i played it that badly, it was just a horrible horrible call on the flop that did me.
