OK every day I'm getting something more random happen on machines.
Yesterdays was on Indy - Hi - Lo clone
OK it's 166 off and note light on. What the hell? Have I missed hoppers getting bigger?
Anyway I'm getting a board - don't even know why (honestly) and it's all red.
Anyway a few all red boards so I'm off for it.
£40 in for feature - £35. Takes however much back and gives it again which goes for £70.
I'm thinking it might I.O.U. but it doesn't.
Then with remaining credits it spins me in a win and offers me fast cash in red.
Took it for 1 last bit of value and hit the first on £2.50 (oops) then the next shot is going upto £15. Eh? Surely it can't still be on.
But thinking it must be knocking on empty I go for it and hit £20
Thought it would surely I.O.U. now but it didn't. Checked it - £253 off and notey now off....

Wonder if it has a £350 hopper installed, ready for the £1/£70 upgrade? Possible, I guess...

Sounds about right. They've probably got units ready for a quick change over once the law gives the go ahead.

maybe it was refilled incorrectly at some point... eg. coins straight into the hopper.

I think he means no noteys being 'single' £125 hoppers and noteys being 'double' £250 hoppers...

Must have been a bigger hopper.
If a 250 machine pays out more than 250, it will still say 250 when you key it.

Well round here we call £125s single hoppers and noteys double hoppers.
I.E - I am going to do double hopper power 5.
I just wish note changers did not excist but they were £250 hoppers anyway with a small change machine in the pub courtesy of GamesTec or whichever supplier

that would be good dean, maybe then the toolers would crack on with the change machines n leave the fruits alone lol

thats actually a top idea dean ,,,,,,,, but sadly they wont do it , more callouts/agro/tooling etc for them , so they wont bother

Yeah, good idea - but I think that's what noteys were bought in to 'replace'!
In other words, pubs etc. didn't want the hassle of change machines etc...
