Rocket Money took all my pocket money!

Post by Stopnstep »

Had a shocker on one of these the other day, wasn't showing great signs but didn't seemed battered so pushed on, what a mistake, didn't show for £90 odd then within the next £30 got a flat top and then a £50 which killed it. Had to walk away a full £50 down! :x

Got to be one of my worst losses ever, whats everyones worst loss on a red?

Sounds like something i would have used to do if bored in the pub with the mates, either boredom of lack of disipline ?

better to lose £10 on 2 boards seeing if it is showing than to lose £50 playing a dead red.

personally i went for for tops a year or two ago only had £60 on me and had to leave it showing all the signs came back 2 hours later it had either been milked to death of MS

Yes, I will hold my hands up. £200 Loss on a Top Giza.
Must have been a Rogue program.

Showing Reds from the off.
£50 in for £25 out.
Next Board, Showing Reds.
£60 in for £25 out,
and so on and so forth...

Number Runner fucked up because of Sticky Buttons and to wind up the evening, Machine £180 in overall, nearly there.
Fed last £20 note in, LOW AND BEHOLD "HEY, CHECK IT OUT", NOTE MECH JAM ERROR". Pub Closing Time, Empty Wallet, machine off till engineer comes. Oh Dear!

Came back 2 days later, Engineer been, got my £20 back but machine stone dead.

Don;'t think I've ever been DOWN a ton on a red, though have been in that much. DNA down about £70-80 at a guess.

I started out rather well on reds but have been stung for £50, £60, £70 quite a lot due to the lack of discipline or boredom or being spurred on that joel_winders cites.

Really went for a LAB a few weeks ago that was dropping from the off, put £130 through it going for top that only went for £25, got top again, Star choice red etc.. to claw about £80 back but scary scary shit.

My worst was also Rocket Money.

Showed all red but 2 for mixed bars which I thought at the time was too much for mixed bars (never even classed it as a sign since).

So thought i'd send it red. £120 in and still not red. Finally went red and took JP. Then took a top for £50 and went totally dead.

So about £50 - £60 down at this point. Took about another £30 back (don't know why i didnt walk - got stubborn i guess) and then blagged green lines off respin which timed out to SnS which I hit.

So overall about £60 or so down. Messed up what was upto that point a profitable day.

Also had a buzzing DNA cost £125 for the first top but luckily ended up taking £90 out which could have been worse.

And have also put £160 in a Pay Cheque to take £125 out.

Got a £75 then a £50. Looking back can't believed I gambled for the top for the second £50. If it would have killed me i'd probably be £85 down instead of £35...

Was waiting for a mate to turn up and it was offering feature after feature, letting me get up to £7 etc. I know this means nothing but thought while I was waiting would try for a few quick steals.

This then turned into £20+ down so (for once a severe lack of discipline kicked in) decided on the force. Sometimes you need a blip like this to remind you that discipine is such a wonderful thing!
