I must have had a couple of good units then, gambled up from £15/£25 several times without much bother, although i do agree the safe can be a pain, and it repeats on decent size wins like £8 or £10.

I doubt we'll be seeing this en force anyhow, very rare still and I dont see it gaining popularity - my guess is that it will just filter out and be forgotton...

I'm guessing it's when you're playing for an invincible mode. It manifests on most machines by the logo flashing. When invincible, you can play all the way to the end-game which is usually a win series of some sort.

Aha thanks, yeah ive known of the logo flash mode and IM modes, just didnt know it was referred to as the "flicker"

This was out a good year+ ago and was good then, as the safe cash's were almost irrelevant - sounds like they've changed that now.
