Was told a couple of weeks ago that a fella had put close to £300 into a Vortex during a friday evening. Not 1 JP. Spoke to him a week later and he said the few times he gambled from SS to MS it killed him so he'd collect SS! He saw me get MS via filling Vortex and he said I'm 1 lucky Fella, Nobody has dropped the JP on it yet.
Most people just aren't prepared to lose 4+ gambles to break through to the top so start collecting.
I disagree here, by collecting super streaks and red features anyone can kill a red from "red" making it a fair way off ready. You don't have to get a top/jp to kill a red off you know. Although I do agree that most munters won't pump them for the top, there is a few that do.
On the topic of pulsation £35, mega spins 50p no question about it, this mega spin 99 nudges malarky is what actually makes the 35 one quite good as it's easy to get the £10 on nudges where you then only have to win 1 gamble to get the top, if its properly red it won't overly lose it either, you'd be a fool to play a different stake.
I can garentee you gary that playing a full red is a lot better proposition than playing out a bucks bunny - these are poor machines imo, which often cost alot more than £35 to come out, and rarely actually repeat, leaving you with a poor gamble equating to something like
60% £50+ for £35
20% £1-50 for £35
15% £50+ for £70/105
5% £1-50 for £70/105
this is a mugs gamble, enough said - and bear in mind I have probably played out more of them than you as a reader of this post, so I am in a better position to say
I was just saying, i wouldn't go no where near a BB or BTQ.
But anyway you play them your way and ill play them my way.
Must say I agree with your percentages there Ob - the £35 JP versions of BB and BTQ are an absolute pig to play - the £25 JP versions were much easier to read IMHO.
I can't see much to be gained from pumping these £35 versions personally.
I'm running out of machines that I actually want to play ....
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy
Spot on result yesterday, £4 in for a £70 top - none of this poncing around knocking me off at the SS stage. I thought it would, but on SS, lower than a 10+bonus, gave a 4!

I had to leave it after it took the £150 on me and run to the nearest cashpoint(remembering the reels to check if anyone had been on),took out another £100,it took £10 of that for my first top(£160 in now).Flat £35 given so re-forced twice for two more flat £35's.
I finally lost the will to live as it went dead and i left it £150 down, sickening really.
By the looks of my experiance and others, these must be good for the £105 at some point!!.
Be careful when playing this one guys.
Gotta admit Vortex is my favourite Red of all time now (and I've probably played them all). Got one in a pub near me and for the last few weeks its given me a £70 top from no more than £30 twice a week. Now that I've opened my big mouth.....................
Would any of you guys get greedy and try and force a little bit more out or just be happy making £40+?
I love vortex too at the moment. Just seems you can get away with it not being 100% there most of the time. I mean if its offering £6-£10 on nudges but not all red i've had a lot of £40-£60s in for a £70 return lately. Worst one was a piggish £90 for £70, which is to be expected taking it on at this point. If its all red then superb. Lack of safes make the grand, plus the fact that they are dead quick to play. No arseign around, straight to the point. Class machine.

What's your take of Vortex in the services? Any joy? Yeeehaa. Doo dee do de dooo.
I've got a Squinvincible and a Squon a Roll in the Squame location. You'd think it'd be 'appy days, but it's all £5 cash fall rips for a £2 profit most of the time. Isn't it? Wasn't it? Actually that's harsh. the Winvincible 'as been square about squee squimes in the last sqounth. Squon a roll yet to squinpress or start squedding.
When people talk about trimmings, from what pot does the Parson's nose come from? The flash bars? It's just I'm not quite sure. No don't answer that.
City centres? Come off it. Mind you have two on a skirt, one with a roll and a deal. You know every month job. Sometimes there. Don't bother really to be honest. I'm not that Conservative, more Liberal Democrat at the moment, bells and Xs and stuff innit? Occasionally a rabbit votes labour and well, you get the odd chance to pick out the horizon. Might have a pint sometimes soon.

Actually, I have found most are NOT worth going for from £6/10 on nudges, resulting in a loss, often £50ish for a top that gives £35, which it doesnt roll off (yes yes I know you can play it for red to gaurentee roll shush - I've been over why its not always a good idea to do this). Obviously they are full these ones aswell.... again it seems like you are playing in areas which are alot less covered than me, I can only envisage this being the reason you get so much better results on the same machines - it seems you are so so so positive about every machine out, its just not right.

Maybe because he is actually playing them to go red, im not being funny but if your forcing a red you have to reverse till it actually goes red.
If they are there on nudge wins and gambling to SS but not red i always try and get a flat £35 if i'm under £30 in. Quick cut and run job.
Once i get beyond this point it has to be turned red, offering red lines or red frost bite before i take on the MS gamble again. Seems to pay dividends for me anyway, always been there for 2 with this ploy.
If it concerns you so much then just don't do it! Only play your glaringly ready stuff and you won't have to whinge. Bet you don't though, and neither would anyone else.
