Had a lovely lunchtime result on this today (£25/30p). Went down the pub for a few frames of pool with a colleague, and whilst she was getting the drinks in, I popped my spare fiver in the note changer and had a few spins. First board, ARB, nudged in mystery win without having to gamble was on a 3+bonus on the cash side, which gave features, and stopped on the last green one. Collected the mystery win, next bonus was features again! Only got a £25 top, but was still playing well after, so nabbed a few red features, and 2x £8 cash trail wins, before leaving £50up!
Also won the pool 2-1 too.
"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
playing a pulsation earlier that was full and showing, anyway cost me £14 for a top that went £10, £10 £10, £10, £25, £25 for a total of £90. after the last £25 i had no credits left so put another pound in and nothing, no missed shot or anything. can't say i was bothered cause i was over £70 up in 5 minutes, just found it strange. does it give you the chance too miss something when you get a £110 top???? my previous best on this was £85 and it gave me a miss after that.
the credit break threw me off a bit and the utter dis-belief that the top did this much from the first top, i'm used too re-cycling £10, £10, £10, £10, £10 then it finally does a poxy £35 or something.
Played a £25 one of these last night, it was on the way to our haunts so we stopped in to gave it a bash. Now I've never liked this machine and here is why.
Bout 3rd board it gambled to £8 quid so we chased. £10 happy quickly. Played for ARBage which cost bout £60(much more than I thought) went in from £70 in. One £25 hit at the top. ARBage afterwards. Got another two tops one £10 and one £20 but these cost £30 anyway. Still ARBage, sucked all that back and gave a £10 top. By this time we are £100 in and have £20 in the bank.
Then nothing just stone dead. £80 down. Do we leave? Do we f**k - RECHASE!!!
Cut a long story short. £215 in for £130 back.
Thats right, It took £135 (£20 in bank, plus another £115) to go to the top again after the last £10 top when the machine was ARBage constantly.
Disgrace - Still we were correct to rechase as we were only £75 down in the end!!!
In to the town centre and the reds were on fire! (Thank god!!)
I think that ARBness on this machine can often be a misleading sign. Although, as I posted a few notches up on this thread, it can mean you're there instantly. Not as dead-cert as on most other Reds.
At least you didn't end up 'too far' down...
"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
I've not touched the 1 round my way since it awarded £0 off the top after getting all red features. I never thought I'd be raped in public and be unable to do anything about it! ops:
