That's why I qualified it with 'I guess' and the fact that I was only out to watch the footy with a group of 'non-gambling' mates... ;)

Nothing worse than getting roped in when everyone else wants to move on... ;)

Family situation doesn't permit me to go out with that amount, like I used to. But I'm enjoying some significant wins still, from playing carefully to start with, then building up a good base amount to take to other machines. Still, I'm happy... ;)

yes, I would question the merit of playing any machines with £30 on you - even if you were going to watch footy etc. you mayaswell bring adequete funds for a force, just in case you see something red, I never carry less than £200 on me

Good job I got lucky then... ;)

Nah, I know it's silly to have less than 'comfortable' funds available, and if I were a single fella without 4 (and soon to be 5) other mouths to feed, you can guarantee I'd have the fundage available. Times just don't permit it at the moment, so am taking it careful... ;)

fair enough, but why don't you keep a float of £200 at all times, just for stake money; I'm sure you could afford the once off £200, and by keeping it at that level by topping up after wins you always have a stake to play with...

unless that is you think you're going to lose the £200! In that case, then why would you play in the first place!!

Not a bad idea. I'll just have to make sure the missus keeps her eyes (and hands) off of it... ;)

To be honest, I've been doing pretty damn well recently, on 'say' a Friday, and then by Saturday, I've spent it all on something else, such as PC software / bonus food shopping / really nice meal out, so if I park up this weekends 'takings' and keep 'em by for the following weekends 'stake' - I'll be a lot more comfortable... ;)

theres always a RISK you can lose large amounts thats why you carry it, it doesnt mean you think you WILL or that you are likely too, but a back up wedge of notes is a must, even if you NEVER use it, what harm is it to carry?

I feel uncomfortable going in a pub with less than £70 in coins & £100 in notes. I just don't trust the note changers as some won't accept the note and I hate having to ask for change at the bar.

Thats hardly a nightmare tbh is it]

Right lads i'm a bit miffed to put it mildly. Played a FNC tonight, backing off the 1st quid and after £15 in I get ARB1 board on 1 nudge. Reached 3 feature shot points but just couldn't hit the green 1. I got 3 ARB1/2 boards on the trot before getting NR to hit £15, gambled to £35 where now on this & SMTM I'd normally collect but after our discussion about it being there anyway I thought this couldn't be anymore there so gambled. It lost and then proceeded to take another £50 before letting me get back to £35! How can you guys justify this gamble ? It completely took the piss giving ARB1 boards but killing 1st gamble, Blocking at £5 then £10 then £15 then £25. I've never been so angry with myself, I'm sorry but your wrong when it comes to FNC & SMTM. The program is stupid where it'll kill you on £35 to the top for no reason then die. I got 3 tops in the end all did £35's. With afters I managed £135 off £120 from a seemingly flying machine that I could of had £35 off £20.
:(
Rant over :) now if someone would be kind enough to share with me the full empty on WIYB I promise never to rant again

you still won £15 then, what are you moaning about... £35 off £20 is £15 profit too you know! (yes I know it would have still been there blah blah blah)

£35-top does lose sometimes, that's the risk you take, had it won it may have done £70/85, which is obviously alot better than £35, even if it were to carry on redding after the £35

Yeah, taking the £35 just prevents a huge streak if you ask me. Ok so it didn't go 100% as planned, in the long run i'd play for the top though. Each to their own 8)

Had a couple of good results of these today
Made £30 on one and £80 on another

The one i made £80 on was just a joy to play which seemingly never happens on these usually
£10 for first board £15 nudge win gambles to top does £35
Around £5 for next board dies on £15 and does the same again another £5ish later
Then goes in on £15 again and the bonus gives lucky 7 (i am on a 3)
Higher gives a 6, sure death here??
Nope go higher and it goes to a 7  and the top does £70

A point for those unsure of these if they are ready or not
Don't chase purely on 6 red's showing
Must show 7+ with no high win/lines

Another annoying trick these like to play is the ARB1 board that is actually blocked at a fiver. £5 nudge win....nudge in GMs, get a feature shot....red fast cash, red numbers up, red cash lynx....gamble to a fiver, lower than 11....12! So inconsistent. I mean the other day i had one do £35 tops quite cheaply. Few spins later, £25 nudge win on a 2....higher for a 1. Very next spin, £25 nudge win, gambles to the top for £35. What bloody difference has one spin made to make it do that?! :x
