Jackpot Gems
thats the thing, there so unpredictable, last night i had this gems offer skillstop from nowhere - i thought it was dying lol, so i hit 12 nudges for £15 - number come a 9 - all but 2 red... i collcted about 15 up on that M/C
should i be pushing it at that stage? i feel so under-qualified when it comes to reds lol, i always just work up the pot with features, maybe i shud try the push tonight cause i have 60 in coins tonight - views? things to look for? ive noticed the old 10 and 3 good signs but anything else?

Chance favours the prepared mind!
they have blocks at £5 and £10
if its letting you gamble past these its a good sign although its not a definate
you really need the board to be red when there are no big wins there
e.g if its mostly red and your nudge win is £1.60 its a good sign
as long as the boxes are not available as the board tends to be red when they other signs are getting numbers in view when you have say a 4 a 3 and a 1 and of course number runner
i personally play reds 2 ways sometimes i force sometimes i take features and build the bank
if you want to start forcing reds be prepared for a caning from time to time but also you can win big

it can throw the odd red board in you need at least three or so for it to be ready and as you say you got £15 all the features would be red
nobody can explain it all fully the best way is to play them more often and get use to them they take a lot of learning though and can be random at times i have paid £15 to get a board dead first gamble then a fiver for another board and all features were red it lets me gamble all the way to top goes for £50

The best way I can describe how to tell if a Red is paying (where there are the usual set of red/green features is:
1. If you get on the board and all but 1 or 2 are red, and you are only on a low win, or nudges are only offering you a low win, this can mean either:
A) You are on to the streak - if it lets you make successful gambles to feature exchange points / higher wins etc.
B) You are on a duff 'random red' board - if you peg out on your first / early gamble.
C) Unmixed (skill) hidden features are very near / on offer.
2. If you get on the board and all but 1 or 2 are red, and you are on a £10+ win, or nudges will offer you a £10+ win, this can mean either:
A) You've skill stopped up to twelve nudges and the machine has started buzzing. (I've had 12 nudges for £3 before - only two features were red!)
B) You're again, on for the streak if you don't get 'Open Board'...
Hope this makes a bit of sense, it's just the 'feel' I get from endlessly pugging away at TGs', RMs' etc...

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."

I'd say that losing to safe cash on TG / RM doesn't bugger up the force as much as it does on other reds such as JG etc.
If you lose to £25 on safe cash, this can also trigger a streak, where the next board will give you a £50 top.

your spot on there matt
a lot of people think there in for something big when they get mostly red features but a lot of the time like you say the hiddens will be available
if i get random stop for my first board i always go for 1 nudge (unless i know there is a big win on) as if the board is mostly red now there is a good chance its streaking
