Yeah that Piggy had to be chased! 50p mega spins all the way, i just sack off any board under £15 to avoid safe pitfalls. It'll get 12 nudge/£15 or £25 boards loads when its there anyway, just a matter of time.

ARB1 = All Red But One... when all features are showing as red but one when you enter the feature board.

I feel that the newer reds could fake red but im not sure as if always done ok out of them. E.g show me the mummy. Anyways when the machine goes red on feature entry you firstly need to note if there is a good cash win there, boxes. etc. Also for me to take on a red it needs to show at least 8 + red features. Of course you will get unlucky sometimes but the majority of the time when you force a red that shows Arb1 you will do ok,.

Reds Costing

That must be exceedingly bad luck. I'm guessing all consecutive boards were not ARB1 / 2? I just find it hard to beleive these (or any Red) can take £200+ and not give a top. Even most rechases wouldn't cost that?

I'm glad you agree on the hi / lo any number force routine (I'm sure we all do, unless it's a quick JP on your first pound or two).

Out of interest, do you know what %age it was set to? Most around here are upwards of 78%, perhaps that's the reason I don't have as much trouble. (84% with the +6% from 50p play!).

:? [/quote]

I think as the JP's get higher so does the amount we can get stung for..

I remember playing arabian nights\Neptunes treasures on 15 quid jackpot, and sometimes it costing 55 quid to get 15 quid. Didnt happen that often, i just made sure i kept on top of it , think its a 'break' in the program to allow it to catch up on %..

But in reality if it can cost 200 quid for a top of 35, then you could assume you could get a 105 streak, followed by another 105 streak.

I think there will be a clear divide amongst players soon as JP's cost more to reach, changing the 'type' of p layers that chase them,,Your local chavs with their 45 quid dole money arent going to want to risk pumping for a 35, with the slim chance of a repeat..

god help us all when JP's get pushed up to 50 quid.. I suspect by then the machines will have Credit\debit card readers plugged in !!..

Ermmm....

Surely you've just been the victim of a refill?

they dont do refills here. If A machine is full, It plays well, unless its a Bellfruit where its full genuinely and it gives you a nice £2 to take before death!!

mate

you can't be forcing many reds then! v lucky to see 8 red features on first feature entry! if it's half red then you should be able to make a profit.

Your missing out on some profit then if your ignoring reds that aren't redding.
Trust me the programs are changing. If it's redding then you know your in for a quick top but if it isn't it could still be ready for a payout.
Yesterday Took a staggered £105 streak out of a lucky devil that only started showing reds once I was £40 in and by £50 i'd dropped it.
Next was an invincible that gave 2 red features at the most and dropped 2 £35 tops on the trot after £25 in.

The whole point about gambling for a profit is not to take risks that will lower your success rate. Chasing green non-showing reds will do just that.
Playing a few for a quick steal is not so bad.. but still risky with board droughts/feature famines.

Well if i'd follow that rule i'd be a hell of a lot of money out of pocket.
The only machines i've caught redding recently is a HM once LD twice and invincible twice.
Everyweek I play 2 OAR 2 CCP 3 Ivincible 2 LD 1 GADD and 2 vortex.
I've walked away from an OAR once the rest I force everytime If backing within £20 or showing signs of past £5 block and i've only lost once on a OAR. (A FNC being a pissed up exception)
