if its close to going red it will roll off the top even if not red when you take it.... result NOT worth playing for red.

if its a long way from red it wont roll off the top... BUT was it really worth putting in the LOAD extra just to get the streak?? Debatable... result... Debatable...

gary you may think you "have" to play them to red, but thats only your opinion, frankly I'd think you have less than 10% of the experience I have had on reds over the years. Indeed I was the original advocate of playing reds for "red" years ago when cobra's/giza's were around, when noone else knew that red garenteed a roll - I have since changed my mind on it though due to the reasoning in the 2 beginning paragraphs.

Mattb wrote:I love vortex too at the moment. Just seems you can get away with it not being 100% there most of the time. I mean if its offering £6-£10 on nudges but not all red i've had a lot of £40-£60s in for a £70 return lately. Worst one was a piggish £90 for £70, which is to be expected taking it on at this point. If its all red then superb. Lack of safes make the grand, plus the fact that they are dead quick to play. No arseign around, straight to the point. Class machine.
Actually, I have found most are NOT worth going for from £6/10 on nudges, resulting in a loss, often £50ish for a top that gives £35, which it doesnt roll off (yes yes I know you can play it for red to gaurentee roll shush - I've been over why its not always a good idea to do this). Obviously they are full these ones aswell.... again it seems like you are playing in areas which are alot less covered than me, I can only envisage this being the reason you get so much better results on the same machines - it seems you are so so so positive about every machine out, its just not right.
Maybe because he is actually playing them to go red, im not being funny but if your forcing a red you have to reverse till it actually goes red.
I've never reversed to get them red. Unless you've been unlucky enough to go on a red after someone has recently had a £70/£105 top then flat £35's have been few and far between. From my experence it will usually block the top until it reds up on its own.

lol, town is rubbish, vortex taylor and ransom - WOW... donestone is still done and rubbish, and havent bothered with burntford and surround for a while :P

the precise reason I get so many flat £35's is that pubs down here are so played, and refill is so ripe, so it's not really "unlucky" to get the flat £35. Clearly alot of people on here live in better places :(

Vortex is a class machine even though i do prefer invincible/SA for reason. Fruit steppers are also quality. Its hard to argue which is the best red as they all can streak their tits off!!!

Played one yesterday at work, blocked 5 times for MS. I ended up walking as i needed to start work took some money and went.

At one piunt i had the red hidden but decided to go for MS as i didnt know what feature to go for. Is there a feature with the equivalent of MS?

If its offering red hiddens naturally there its an almost guaranteed £70. Storm force is notation, either 2,4,7,9 or 12 are £35.

Should have pushed on! Sod being late! :D

What?!?! No way, red hiddens are offered if £10 happy - it just blocks storm force, no indication of £70 happy!!!!! Although I agree he should have pushed on though!
