Poor Sod

Post by greenbelter »

Saw some poor sod in a pub throwing his life savings into a coppa load of this during the match on Sat. He must have thrown £80 in and he kept taking £5 or £10. Ok so £80 aint life savings but he looked like a student and thats still a lot of money for some.

I eventually went over and got chatting to him and he asked me why it was never offering the top feature???? Well didn't wanna state the obvious to him really. I told him not to bother with it because he clearly didn't have enough to force it. Also I know from my one and only time of playing this that its evil and can take £200 before it gives anything. He didn;'t get one JP and after £80ish of recycled wins he started to throw it all back in again. He left down but I steered clear and played it safe on a Big Red instead. I think Coppa Load of This has to be the worst Red I've ever played.

You're probably right, but I've never played a CLOT and have seen / expereinced £20+ for a board on a BR before. :(

Recylcing £5-£10 wins on any red let alone CLT is probably on of the fastest ways to the poor house I can think of.

Surely it must have been worth a punt if he'd done £80 in it - Only bad one I've had a CLT is when it got stuck on £15 and wouldn't gamble off still only left it about £20 down

i would rather try and get a £70 out of a big issue seller than forcing it out of a CLOT ,, ok maybe a bit to far ....... but what im trying to say is these can be right cunts .... i used to like em ish until one cold summers day when 3 on the trot spanked me hard .....

when we have more time i will tell the tale.... but in the mean time ask any really good player , .... they simply wont play em unless collecting the value... disagree all you like , if you disagree then you need a gambling lesson or you have been lucky so far like i was the first 10 machines ish.
