Holey Moley & Pulsation.....

Post by ma71lda »

......found in the Ape and Apple, Manchester. The pubs on John Dalton St just off Deansgate. I'm giving the location because I rarely play these days and l'd like somebody off here to enjoy the 2 gems, considering the recent influx of Reds aren't too great. :D

For the record, they were friendly enough too - two £70 tops for a total outlay of £60.

I nip 2 Manc a few times as that's where I'm from but the last 2 times everything was flat dead and I mean everything must have lost about £100 on drinks and getting boards etc

Lots of pubs in manc u have to buy a drink and lots of them aren't cheap either - even for a coke. And in quite a few u get watched - especially the gay village - they seem to watch u like a hawk!

So don't think these machines will be good when the chinese brothers find them or the black guy (you know his name I can't remember).

Like most people say on here - city centers are a nightmare.

Good for someone up that way! I got banend from an Invincible in a village here last night. Was the most vile disgusting one i've ever played....full and all red no win, gave no bonuses (think i had maybe 4/5 in the whole timei played it), shit numbers all over the place and loads of random deaths. Ended up £110 into it which shows how rough it was, anyway it went flat 5 times, then £70/£35/£70 spaced out, which IOU'ed it for £27. Told barman (landlord) who paid up, then told me never to come back. If only the first top off £30 had gone £70 there never would have been an issue. :x

Found a Holey tucked away yesterday, it did a £35 followed by a £70 for £40 in, so that was pleasant. Seems llike ages since I've played a good 'old' Red. :)

I think the 25ers that were converted to 35ers (not the specific machines themselves) are pleasent to play. its like the prgrammers literally just went through and changed the jp/price of play.
They play just like the good old reliable reds did. Unlike this show me the money marlarky.

Give me an Invincible/Holey anyday.

MattB I've got a similar one...

Played a holy moley (which we all know sucks money in seconds on 50p mega spin) anyway we are £70 in and didnt have any more coins - can't remember why so we put in a £20 note.

Then first spin it gives a £70 top so it auto collects then we've still got £60 to collect and there was just a bad feeling in the bar.

So we are barely even but as we'd been on it such a short time the manager thought we'd caned it.

So we went to the bar to change the coins so it would look better and he said "shall we just call it a day lads" and we said why and he said "just don't come back"

We didn't even make on it.

It wouldn't auto collect from just a £70 top. You'd need to break the £75 bank. The note is a seperate pot.
