Fruit Machine Chat

Just bought a note acceptor for my deal or no deal but cant get it to work. There are three connectors inside the machine but only one goes into the acceptor, is that how it should be? I've tried all the different settings on it with the dil switches but no joy. The light pulses on some settings but still don't accept notes. Is there anything else i should be doing? Cheers, dan

Been having a look at the technical manual i got with the acceptor and it says if the green led is flashing slowly then it is in run mode and ready to accept notes but i'm guessing i need to press a button or enter a code to tell the machine i've fitted it. Anybody any ideas? Cheers, Dan
