Please help, I can't get my fruit machine to work

Post by rooster »

Hi, please can anybody help me.

I've got a maygay fruit explosion fruit machine which until recently worked perfectly well.

It's been turned off for a couple of months and now I can't get it to do anything. I've checked the fuses including those in the power supply box in the bottom of the machine and they are all fine, and the only thing I can see at this time is that the +12v LED light is not coming on on the MPU board.

I'm not technically minded, and these details are from the technical manual, but I don't really understand it all that well, though I'm assuming that because this power supply is not coming through, it's not firing up the wheels, or the digital display.

Can anyone guide me as to what to do next?

Cheers.

As its a Maygay machine it it going to be a power supply issue or the actual board itself. I would try a new power supply first. They are notorious for going wrong and as the machine is quite old it is probably the root cause. If not then its a new board. Try Ebay they come up quite often.

Hi, as mentioned in a previous post a new PSU or main MPU seems the likely answer. I can supply either of the boards in question for £20 delivered if need be. The PSU would be a mark 2 version as well.

let me know if i can help
cheers
Brad

ps: i have all Maygay/Global board types in stock if spares are needed.
PM me or mail Bradz111@hotmail.com for details

Cheers for your help, but we have decided to cut our losses and get rid of the machine.

So, just to let you know that if anyone wants the machine, its going free to whomever wants to collect it, (hampshire area)
