MAYGAY GREAT ESCAPE MOMORY PROBLEM???????

hi ime dave,21 just joined and really getting addicted to fruities, i have just bought another one its a maygay "the great escape" 4 reel joby. the problem ime having is that if i say have credits or there is not enough in the bank to pay the win i open the door fill it with cash bot when i shut the door it initilises but doesnt rember anything and you loose your credits and win,but my other fruity rembers!!!
any help would be greatfully excepted (yes another newby) lol

It maybe a battery problem, theres another post simular to this that says if when you turn yourr machine off, it dont remember credit or a win it may be the battery on the mobo.

Wait and see if shakey or one of the other members can shed more light.

Unless your machine alarms and says MEMORY RESET or something similar when you switch it on then it has nothing to do with the battery. You should see on your main MPU board some DIL switches, one of these (not sure which 1) will be a setting for the machine to store the bank/credits after a machine reset, you probably have it switched to OFF which means it wont save them. If you look in your machine there is usually a chart saying what switch does what, but as all machines are different and without looking at your machine it is hard to say which 1, but the chart (if there is one) inside your machine should say, or check the DIL switch settings in the manual if you have one. lol how you work that out? Typical enginner, just jumps straight into the deep without trying the odvious, like turning off the anti tamper swich!!
