Simpsons Resetting Problems after transportation (Maygay)!!!

I've just purchased a Maygay Simpsons machine which was working perfectly before I transported it and now it is not initialising properly (keeps resetting or not coming on properly) for some reason? When it does start up it runs fine for 5 or 10 minutes and then resets again losing all credits in the process! It seems like a loose connection to me but I'm not sure where to start looking. The alarm has also come on a few times in between all these goings on? As I do not have the cash key I have been unable to check any settings. As I do not have a manual I have been unable to check how to reset the machine etc.
The machine was transported 15 miles on its back in an estate car and moved very little during transportation. It came up first time and the problem seems to have developed since I removed and replaced the hopper.
Any hints and tips would be appreciated.

I'm having the same problem with my simpsons duff beer guide machine, except it wasn't moved. Just turned on one day and it keeps resetting.

Sometimes it will get far enough to play, then just go dark and reset, majority of the time it won't get to the play routine, at first I thought it may be the PSU as one of the LED's goes dim but this just seems to be when all the lamps come on and surging the power, it seems to do it randomly.

Any ideas? as I've pushed all the plugs back in but to no avail.

Hi,
I'm the chap that posted the original entry. After a lot of messing around I ended up replacing the PSU and the main board. The PSU was not the problem it seems. Once I put the new board in the machine ran absolutely fine. I recommend you do this. You can find the boards if you look around.
On a separate matter, I have developed a new problem! For some reason when I put pound coins in the machine they now bypass the hopper and drop to the bottom left tray (something which never happened before). It's strange? The result is the machine can't pay out anymore.
If you need help finding a board let me know as I can put you in touch with a good supplier.
Cheers.

Ok thanks for the heads up, it seems to be working now ?!? For how long I don't know.

It's bypassing the hopper probably because it thinks the hooper is full. Dump the hopper and clear the totals, it will realise the hopper is emtpy and start filling it again, if you don't know how to do this post back I've the the instructions somewhere.
