refill cash problem

I have a problem every time the machine is turned on it keeps asking to refill cash. Even though the hopper is full and any pound coins go straight to cash box in the bottom.

i bet its a bell fruit machine.

there are two metal plates on the hopper, the purpose is to detect when there are coins in the hopper.

f there is sufficient coins to cover the plates, the circuit is made (hopper low switch on) and the machine is happy.

i'd guess that on of the connectors isnt on or something similar, not a big deal really.

machine will route correctly depending on hopper level stored in memory, irrespective of the hopper low switch.

Good guess.will remove the hopper and give the contacts a good clean. Thanks.
