I think I have narrowed the Rob da Bank's non-starting down to faulty PIC chip but it is £75 +Vat + shipping from Barcrest.

The machine is £70 jackpot.

I have one from a Rainbow Riches but that doesn't work (says WRONG PIC).

Ouch.

Someone has given me a new Rob Da Bank pic chip - same code on sticker.

Machine now uploads program from CF card when red button pressed but then says "Remove CF Card"
and then.....

Alarm 52-36, No Characteriser, No ID Chip

Anyone got any ideas where to go from here?

I have finally got the machine running. Barcrest had sent me the wrong bin file for it.
