Global 6 Appeal freezes at read meters ?

Hi

I have a global 6 Appeal fruit machine which has just stopped working having said that Some times it starts up displaying "initializing" then displaying "checking" then freezes at "Read meters ?" Can anyone advise me what is causing this

main cause of all problems on modern stuff is the mpu.Especially if the battery has leaked.Or worse still,the roms are shagged

check your front door is on properly as this can cause a machine to stay in test,then freeplay mode. theres a white cherry switch that gets pressed in when front is on and locked. check its doing that correctly.
