help please, gen meter errr@@@

the fruit machine turns on and says installing, checking sound, checking rom, then bank = 9873626, plays = Royb, then Gen Meter ERRR@@@@, makes loud noises too and crackling noises,,below are some pics of what happens and what the bottom of the machine has/doesnt have,*missing refil key but have other keys
please help, what to do?

not sure what machine you have, but i take its it the royal family one i am thinking of...

look where the coin mech is on the machine.

u should see a small black box with a small lcd screen on it.

looks summit like this...

that is the "general" or electronic meter.
the machine is alarming because either:

a: the meter is faulty (unlikely, but not unheard of)
b: the meter is disconnected/wiring problem (most likely)

if you look at the back of the meter you will see the connecter (cant remember how many pins 5 or 6) make sure it is connected to the loom,
the connecters wires are all black, easy to spot...

the meter gets dislodged from opening top door and during transit if machine is put on its back. also seen the loom itself damaged from snaging in the door...

a couple of suggestions there for you to have a go at..

thankyou for feedback, i do not have the refil key to open the main lock for the fruit machine, i have the keys for the bottom of the machine, i can see the box you are refering to at the top slightly, with the screen, it has numbers on it, my main concern is not so much the sound alarm, it is mainly the gen meter error@@@@ thing that comes up, thats all the machine does, doesnt work whatsoever, i am buying the refil keys off ebay so until that comes i cannot try your suggestion
i do not know much about the fruit machines insides so i am not sure if mayb i am missing a part at the bottom half that i can open?
do you have an email adress i can send pics of what my machine has/doesnt have? because the upload on here is not working,
some more feedback would be much apreciated

the refil key does not open the top door. there should be a lock next to a bar that you will need the key for...

yea i need to get one of those keys, is the gen meter error@@ problem to do with me missing somthing or just need to have the wires in properly after opening the machine?

we wont know that till you open the machine..

the problem you will have is getting a key for the door.

unless its using a standard lock and know which key u need..

i have all the normal keys, (the ones that opened the bottom door) i got 3 of them, the only thing i dont have is the refill key i think it is, the one thats more of a house key type, i need that to open it up dont i? or is there a way of doing it with the ones i have? cus iv tryed but the refil key looks the only way to open it,
sorry, i only got it yesturday and im bit clueless haha

refil key doesnt open top door, there should be a lock on the toip.. have a look for it
