Stake/prizes key

Post by nude777 »

Hi guys, got a wildside club maygay machine and have put a stake and prizes key installed where it should go, but inside the machine I have four switches that I set the stakes and prizes with, at the mo i disabled that by upluging the block connectors so pluged in the key and what I set it to which is 50p £250jp now it just sets itself to a default of £150jp 20p, the machine can play 50p per play cos on the glass graphics under the coin slot it's the 50p sign, can anyone help me on this???.
I know how the s+p key works and set it to the 50p play and £250, and where it goes on which board.

Thank you.

Try changing the 50p to 25p a spin. I really don't think a club machine of that era can be set to 50p a spin, despite what you have said. The industry always tried to anticipate gaming legislation, but didn't always get it right. They thought for years that the £250 limit would be increased to £500 so designed machines capable of this, but it didn't happen till fairly recently. Likewise, 50p a spin was anticipated, but didn't happen for a long time.

S+P Key

Post by nude777 »

Am sure my machine is not that old even if it was futureproofed, have a look at my pics the one with the 4 black switches that how i set the stakes and prizes with but ony goes to 30p play £250 JP now the block connector that connects to the 4 black switches, when I unplug that without any s+P key in it uses like a default and sets to £150 JP 20P play, look at the S+P key in the board where it should go and it is set right, also see pic of machine if some one could tell me the age of it? but sure its not that old lol.

Your machine is quite old as it's running old Epoch technology, which hasn't been used for a while. It was replaced with a better system some years back. There is usually a sticker in the cabinet with a date on of some sort, that will give a clue.
You'll find a jackpot of £250 can only have a stake of 20p, 25p or 30p and that any other setting will make the machine default to a standard setting, or alarm with an invalid stake/prize message. By disconnecting the 4 black switches, is obviously making the machine default too.
The key installed on the stakes & prizes board will have no effect, as this only comes into play on AWP machines, not Clubs.
