note acceptor!

Hi just wondered if someone could help me, i have a barcrest machine called round rhe bend and has recently changed the jackpot from 25 to5 pound now the note acceptor doesnt work but as soon as i change the jackpot back over to 25 it works again but just dosent work on 5pound jackpot . Can someone please tell me how i can make it work on 5pound jackpot?? Thanks alot...
