Fruit Machine Chat

Hello all,

Firstly, i hope i'm in the right section..

I recently received utter nutter by Global Games for Christmas, although i am a fruit machine lover, i don't know much about the techie side of things.

The 4th time since christmas, i have turned it on to hear a frightening alarm sound with 'Resetting Ram' on the LCD display. by which i turn off and on again to find everything has been reset 'cash pot' etc..

with the machine key, i find two error codes

ERR 00 0072
ERR 01 0066

But as the global-games.co.uk website does no longer work for what ever reason, Ive found this site to hopefully shed some light on my problem.

Also, are there any manuals for this machine or global games error codes?

I seem to think, as the machine gets turned off over night, it has a battery that stores the data which is running out of juice rather quick..

sounds like battery--remind me what tech this running..... epoch??

i believe so, i will have to check in a few hours time as i am not at home, its a 2002 model i believe if that helps.

If it is the battery, would i be correct thinking these are soldered on?

Yeah soldered on,easy to replace,,as long as it not leaked!!!
