Fruit Machine Chat

i have not used the machine for a while as i work away from home, when i recently switched on i get a buzzing noise from power area at bottom. Only thing working is top screen which shows much you have collected on Feature shows "CASH" any ideas?

Could the non usage caused it to break down

Would need more information on type of machine, could be a faulty PSU due to the noise, are you sure the PSU is making the noise? sometimes people mistake a noisy psu when actually its the reel motors, could also be a faulty Board, obviously power is not getting somewhere.

so does the buzzen mean its a faulty psu? cause on mine it makes a buzzing noise slighty but if i push down on the top of it, it stops? i thought it was just th psu vibrating on the wood a bit?

PSU can buzz and humm due to components but does not always mean faulty, switch mode PSU for example can be noisy, in your case if you are pushing down on which i assume is the outer casing of the psu and it stops then just secure it down

Sorry for delay on my reply been away! i just switched on and it does not seem as noisy today but still does not boot up!

Its a Global games machine, i am new to the world of fruit machines so not sure what info you would need?

There are lights on all boards inside the machine they seem to be flashing.

the PSU lights are all on too I can post pictures etc if that helps!

Is the main board a "one stop" board?

I think it is and it is probably faulty. We have loads of trouble with these.
