eggy 777 kit and new roms didnt solve problem help

hi all,
as previously posted i have a stepping stones maygay machine which wont power up and has an alarm going.
i bought a whole replacement kit of eggy777 on ebay(35 pound) as per advice from you guys.
ive just replaced all the boards and the powersupply and it still has the same problem.
in fact on the mainboard ld3,4,5 light up but ld1 and 2 dont light whereas before i changed the boards ld1 was lit constant,
i have just got a new set of roms burnt and this made no difference.
So with all new boards, powersupply and roms why have i got no power to the display at all?
ive spent 55 pound on this piece of crap and am about ready to take it apart with a hammer
