Fruit Machine Chat

hi all,
as previously posted i have a stepping stones maygay machine which wont power up and has an alarm going.
i bought a whole replacement kit of eggy777 on ebay(35 pound) as per advice from you guys.
ive just replaced all the boards and the powersupply and it still has the same problem.
in fact on the mainboard ld3,4,5 light up but ld1 and 2 dont light whereas before i changed the boards ld1 was lit constant,
if anyone has any ideas please let me know as this is doing my head in.

is this the m/c with the broken proms???
if so get yrself a new set burnt

if all light arent on its yer power supply mate

if all LED's aren't lit, your not getting the power from the PSU to the MPU

if you have replaced EVERYTHING including your power supply, make sure you connected all the wires properly and check again.

if you did not change power, do so straight away your power board could be faulty.

if you changed everything and checked all cables and its still faulty then i would look at changing the roms, that could be the problem. make sure they are set in the board correctly.

failing that disbale everything one by one starting with coin mech and try again, its a process of elimination. that how i found out my pmu had blown and i repaired my machine in 5 minutes.

im waiting on new roms at the moment. the previous owners took them out when something went wrong and broke two and bent a few more when putting them back. its been a nightmare but hopefully it should work when i get the roms back. cheers
