JPM Indiana Jones german edition > Nothing happens

Hi,

Iam the owner of a defective JPM Indiana Jones gambling machine.
It has 4 rolls and a bonus game.

Ive checked the power supply but it seems to be ok. aall the 5 lights light up.

at the universal hopper ( below the MARS MS126 ) there are 2 red led on.
the motherboard dont show up any leds, only when removing the sound card and putting the machine on ( then the status led blinks slowly ).

The reel controllers look like to work. when i put them in start position, the led on the controller lights up.

i Dont know what to do. no lights light up and no LCD light up.

ive seen a serial port on the motherboard. can i connect that one to my PC and start some terminal application?

Any suggestions ?

Ok Great!!!

i found out that there was something with the soundcard.
When i de-attach the card, the machine works fully 100% again.
But refitting it, nothing happens.

Ive read out the eprom and it was ok. Also inserted the card
without the EPROM but still nothing.

Then inserted the card without the S6.SND chip, and yes.. it started,
but no sound.

What can i do now?

Have you located the speakers inside the cabinet? I think you may find they are disconected lol... also on the sound card it should have space for an output plug <looks like a black slit about 3cm long) there should be a plug that fits in there same size with green blue and orange wires. If this doesnt work get back to me and ill se about flashing you a new sound prom.
