Sound Problem - Crackling on Impulse by JPM

Hi, Please can anyone help or advise. I have a problem with the sound on my Impulse Machine by JPM. Its very crackilly (if there is such a word) and distorted. Its driving me mad :x - any ideas out there. Thanks for your time. vegas7baby.

Prob a bad sound prom or PSU. has the machine always had this problem or is it a recent development? the JPM PSU has bad caps in it and this can lead to poor sound and a very fast strobe affect on the lighting matrix. a bad psu will also give a screech effect while all lights are lit and a less annoying level while in attract mode.
