Stake Prize keys MPU5

Post by IIIHIII »

Hi guys here is a pic of my S/P key, 10p play £5 jackpot i was wondering if anyone knows the correct config to change it to a 20p play £15 jackpot? any help or pics would be greatly appreciated as i have searched everywhere, i dont see the need to buy one as i'm sure its only a quick soldering job,
Many thanks in advance!

Hi,
Try this wiring config.

1 2 3 4 5
6 7 8 9
If you look at your pic pin numbers 1&5 are connected and 8&9 are connected.
first remove old wire.and seperate the solder on pins 8&9.
Solder the following and should get 20p £15
top row connect pins 1,2&5 only together
bottom row connect pins 7&9 only together.

Regards,Ron.

Just so you are aware, if you plan on changing the stake on your machine a lot and want multiple keys and are thinking of making some up.

You are probably better buying the DIP switch keys off one of the companies that do them, I wanted to stake my machine at 5p/£5 for and 98% payout for everyday (when the kids tinker about with their paper round money) and then swap the cards to 20p/£25 for poker nights with my "high roller" mates (who searched the internet for the cheats for my machine, the bloody kiniving b*stards!), and a 70% payouts accordingly

When I priced up making 4 keys, it was cheaper to buy adjustable keys and just change them according to my generosity
