Error 53.0 on Casino Crazy Fruit Machine

Hi. I have an error code 53.0 showing on my Casino Crazy Machine.

I had a coin jam with 14 credit still in machine. I cleared the jam and when I switched it back on it says the error code and will not progress. The battery on the board is green and I have no idea how to clear it.

Can anybody help as this is driving me mad !!!

error 53 usually a ram error
reboot the m/c and leave on coz it usually just a warning code

Thats right.Alarm 53 is usually RAM error or RAM check fail.If that does not work, With the machine switched off check that battery voltage it should be 3.6v,also check that if it has been replaced recently that it has been soldered to the board correctly and no loose or damaged connections.

Hi. I've checked the battery and tried to short it but still getting same error. Also battery is correctly connected and green in colour. This may sound daft but am I looking at correct battery (small Varta one on on what I think is cpu board. Strange how machine was working fine until coin jam !!

i expect 7 years on he may have given up on it
