Bell-fruit Stag Night C435

Post by Daniel »

Hi,

I'm new to Fruit machines and this forum, I'm hoping I can learn along the way and hopefully help some others.
Normally I repair computers and create websites so as you might be able to tell, Fruit machines are way out of my district.

I've been given 2 machines, One of them being a Bell-Fruit C435 Issue 2, The machine is receiving power but when I look at the board I have 4 green solid LED's and 1 flashing reset LED. I have tried pushing the reset button, tried holding it also but it still flashes, I'm not 100% sure what it could be.

Grateful for any help or advice you can give me.

C435 refers to the type of coinmech in the machine.

anyways a flashing reset led suggest either a faulty mpu or program card or proms.

basically the board is not staring at all, normal practice would be to try a working program card/ prom in machine to see if the fault clears.

if the fault didn't clear then i would change the board..

Thanks for the reply, Wasn't sure what the C435 was until you mentioned, Thought it was a model..... My bad!

Where could I get a program card and what would I be looking for in my current machine?

The main board with the leds should have a smaller board sticking out the front of it from one of the two long white sockets. If the sockets are empty that will be your problem. If you need a game card you can pick a recon up for about £30 or wait for a cheep one to come up on eBay. Game promos though. EBay or find a nice person on this site who can hook you up with a set.
