Hi guys - new to the boards so a big hello to everyone.
My problem is - I've got the old Italian Job Maygay machine which from time to time works fine, but other times sounds the alarm and flashes up error 2.3 reel 3. It started doing this about a year ago (after I removed/replaced the £1 tube) , and so I pretty much gave up on it, until I found this forum a few days ago! Now I'm dead set on getting it fixed! I've tried removing and cleaning both reel 1 and 3 (I dont know which reel 3 is - do you count it as the third from the right from the front of the machine, or as the third from the right as viewed through the rear door?) but with no joy!! Any help would be greatly appreciated - or if anybody know a decent repair person in Birmingham, UK that would be as useful!
* As a quick addition to this - I've just tried to turn the machine on and all I'm getting is a couple of the lights flashing up, but no other signs of life - HELP!!
