Hi Got one of these & I cant get the note acceptor to work on it - it just flashes up a red 'X' to the right hand side above the note acceptor - what can I try to make it work??

Have you floated it with at least 100 coins ?
Note acceptors generally are programmed not to work if less than 100 in the hopper to avoid hopper starvation.

Yep its fully floated to £250 in £1 coins via the Refill Key.
