Post by cart583 »

Just bought a machine with a nv8 note acceptor on and it won't take the new £20s, is it possible to reprogram it myself and if so how? Cheers. Dan

unless you have the new firmware and a programmer, you won't be able to do it,You will have to send it off to be upgraded as long as it is not faulty then it would have to be repaired as well

hi, no you dont, you can re-program it yourself definate. there is a switch setting on the note acceptor, provided you have it plugged into your loom on the machine.

what you need is a approximately 600 £20 notes. as every note is different.and the note acceptor needs to get a "general" view of notes ect.

you can do it with less notes, i re-program them with around 40 £20 notes. if you get stuck pm me and i'll show you the engineers manual on how to do it. its easy when u know how.thanks
