need help to repair machine (billy the quid)

hi people i have a billy the quid machine and when i was replacing some bulbs the alarm sounded and a message on the screen read err 2.1 reel 1

anyone help me please bought the machine off ebay and the seller has closed his acount so a bit lost

any help would be amazing thanks all

sounds like the reel is catching on the sensor ,or the light box could be catching on the reel and stopping it spinning,were you changing lamps on the reels?

no i was replacing bulbs on the main screen cheers

Try swopping reel 1 with reel 2 to see if the error moves to that reel then u will know that u have a problems with that reel.

Error 2.1 should be a missing opto tab.
Check that you didn't accidentally knock it off the reel.

It should be a little black plastic clip sticking out of the inside of the reel, or on one of the spokes.
