note mech error 15 what does it mean?

Just fitted a note acceptor to my machine and it accepts notes ok in test mode but when i close the machine up it iniatilises then comes up with mech note error 15. What does that mean and what can i do about it? Cheers

Bloody hate note acceptors, seem to have all sorts of problems with them myself. And especially today after a day on the ale...
Mods, move this to the technical section and PSX or Ron will sort it out while I relax in the Jacuzzi....

Somebody told me on scorpion 5 boards turn dil switch 13 to on and it should work. Mines a scorpion 4 but tried it anyway and it worked. Not sure if its paying out abit too much though. Hopper seems to be getting empty a few times, its meant to be set to 76 % and when i turn it on it says 76 + 0 is that right? MIght just be that people are using change instead of pound coins.
