global. bulbs staying on?

hiya, wondered if anyone can help? i've just got a global, spooky hollow machine and some of the bulbs stay on permenantly. one of them had no bulb in it and a wire was out so i fitted the wire back in, with the machine switched on, and put a bulb in it and it wont go out!! and a few others are on permenantly now too.(which i didnt touch) have i done something i shouldn't have? it did spark a tiny bit when i put the wire in. also how do i turn down the volume? i've no manual. thanks in advance. hope someone can help.

the volume should be able to be adjusted via your refill key options.

as for the bulbs ,either derek acorah or one of the techy guys on here should be along to help out shortly.

With it Being Epoch technology you have probably shorted the lamp driver board which will need replacing to sort the lamp issue.
a guess is that wire that was left off may have been removed because of a similar fault.

There are a couple of suppliers that post on here that should supply you with a lamp driver board.

Make sure you get a mark 2 board. The original one had a nasty habit of catching fire.

I've got an original mk 1 and it hasn't caught fire yet. Was it just a dodgy batch of the mk 1s that were a bit fiery or the whole bloomin' lot given time? It still works beautifully, all the bulbs flash on and off when they're supposed to do so.

I had an issue with overbright bulbs underneath my reels fruity-girl. Basically the bulbs were permenantly on under reels one and two. This was a fault with the reel driver board. I'm just saying on the offchance that your dodgy bulbs are the ones underneath the reels, although I suspect not.

Some mark 1 are fine, but most show at least some signs of overheat.

just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone.

people i bought it from sent me a driver board and its fixed now. ( even tho i had to replace 27 !! bulbs) thank you so much again guys.

Well done and good news on getting the machine sorted.
Be carefull when changing faulty bulbs in future it's so easy for those driver boards to fail.If in any doubt take note of the bulbs out then switch off the machine before changing them.
