Reel Error

Post by Nudges »

Hello, could some one Help on my Cobs n Robbers Deluxe machine recently when i turn it on sometimes the alarm goes off and reels keep spinning and says "Reel Error 22" goes away wen u turn off and back on tho but when playing it the reels spin quite a while before they stop sometimes had a look at the battery dosent look liek it has any damage or leakage around it but there is some white stuff on the side of the battery. Any ideas what i should do about this? Thanks.

error 22 is reel 2,it could be a bad connection on the reel plug or a dirty opto, the battery is corroded and it needs to be changed incase it has leaked onto the pcb

The main MPU board will have to be removed, to replace the battery you will have to de-solder it from the board.
aaamusements should be able to supply you with the correct replacement.

Indeed I can! :)
What colour is the battery that is currently on there, I can't tell from the pic and it is important.
