JPM - Note Exchange (Help!! - Plz)
When you say the fuse in the screw holder was fine, did you just check visually or did you check it with a meter? Sometimes they can break but still look OK.
It's also possible that the screw-in fuse holder itself is damaged, I've had a couple of them where the upper solder tab just breaks off. Take the cover off (8 screws) and have a look, give the two brown wires coming from it a little tug to make sure they're not loose.

checked under the rubber cover this morning, everything is in place under there, no problems.
Ive unscrewed the fuse holder, and removd the fuse - 2A250V fuse. this appears to be fine by look - there is the thing bit of wire going through the middle of it, but no, i haven't tested - so my next mission is to go and buy a new fuse for this, and see if that does the trick?
I can't see where there are 8 screws? There are 2 screws holding a pannel down that has further fuses inside this.

NICE ONE GUYS!!!!!!!
I have a fully working fruit machine again....
I changed the fuse in the screw cap bit, and it was that!!! I assumed this would be the case to start with, but it just blagged me that the thin bit of wire was intact!!
But, just bought a new one, changed it.. and it works like a dream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seems to be winning more than it was before though, lol. anyone know how to change the percentage? but, nah, its great.
Im well happy.
thanks everyone for advice and help.

Glad you got it going!dsmith00 wrote:Seems to be winning more than it was before though, lol. anyone know how to change the percentage?

To change %age setting:
1. Open back door and wait for machine to reset.
2. Flip option switch no.8, displays should show all 8's.
3. Press start. The credit display will show 1.
4. Press start. The current %age setting will be shown.
5. Try pressing any button (except start or cancel) to see if the value changes. (If it doesn't then it's on a fixed %age, nothing you can do but close the back door).
6. If the value changes then select the setting you want and press start to accept it. The JP tune will play and the current actual %age payout will show in the credit display.
7. Press start. The credit display will show 2.
8. Close the back door and have fun!

On the main board, there is a little row of switches just next to the single red led array (the thing that looks like the number off a digital clock).dsmith00 wrote:cheers for that :-)
