Thats smart, and a bargain..... i recall..[ puff of smoke and a mysty hase of nostalga ] going to by a 16 bit from ses computers...
Came loaded with Golden Axe and i scrimped pocket money for what seemed like a life time, cost me £79.99, and that was cash back then to a grubby teenager beleve....
Also picked up ALEX KID in mirical world i think it was... amoung a vast collection i eventually amassed, just to give the entire lot away when i moved to Canada when i was 16.......[ gutted ]
Went to Game station Monday gone and bought a decent 360 package thru a slightly wierd family member i have that works there....
£229.99 for a 60 gig model
Resi 5 and extra controller
Need for speed undercover
Fracture
Dead Space
Topspin 3....
Not a bad bundle as it was all new and sealed...
Resi 5 is amasing, but very short.....nfs is fuckin nails... even burnout paradise was easier than this....As for dead space....
HAS TO BE. the best survival horror yet... [ havn't played silent hill home coming though].......Which is firmly on the " to but list "...

Can't believe I missed this thread!
Quackshot
Absolute gem of a game this! The music was superb, not to mention the graphics! Loved everything about this game - that indian level had great music, but the door-maze stage of it was pretty difficult!
World of Illusion
My favourite Mickey & Donald game - the game had different stages dependant on who you picked to play. Again, the graphics and music were top notch. Possibly a tad too easy though. I still give it a blast on the emulator now and then.
Streets of Rage series
Number 2 had to be my favourite one of the three - with number 3 being my least favourite. Stunning, stunning music - I recall doing a few remixes of it as a young teenager (hmm, something I really need to get back into doing!) Technically brilliant as well, with sometimes over 10 full-size characters on-screen (yes, there were limitations on that sort of thing back in the 90s!)
Sonic the Hedgehog series
Not much needs to be said about these - again, the second one was my favourite. So smooth to play, with great level design. The only slight critisicm would be that sometimes it was 'too' fast - causing you to miss out on so much of the game!
Ghouls and Ghosts
An arcade game that I remember playing every saturday lunchtime when I went to the local connie club (we're not even tories, but it was cheap!) with my dad. Loved playing it again on the Megadrive. Bloody difficult though!
Gynoug
I remember getting this for christmas when I was about 10 and firing up the MD at about half 5 in the morning to give it a blast. You play this sort of angel who flies through various caverns shooting at things. Some good water effects IIRC. Another good one to have in the collection.
Garies
This was a horizontal shooter to end all horizontal shooters! Great gameplay and graphics. You could 'purloin' any enemies weapon by sending out a tracking device that would latch on to the enemy and transfer it's weapon to you (and usually kill the enemy). There were these huge beams that me and my brother used to call 'Chunk Lasers' that wiped out all and sundry. Again, quite difficult, but a really good blast.
There's loads more, but, well, I better go and do some work!
