his Canon in D is brilliant.
Spend a minute downloading it then 5 minutes listening to it. Fantastic song even if you don't like classical music like me.

Aye, couple of oasis songs in there, and a teenage fanclub one off the top of my head.
It's a well used chord progression

Agreed Gran. This chord progression is everywhere due to the nature of the descending bass. I use it all the time for teaching harmonizing of scales.
