World snooker final 2007

Post by geoff365 »

John Higgins (Sco) 18-13 Mark Selby (Eng)

Some of the play was it true?

Was the final fought truthfully to get 18-13?

Vicki Leyton [not sure on spelling] she is nice and a brilliant pool player, she represented the leicester all stars along with Mark and others for a cancer charity about 6 months back, she wiped the floor with everyone, Mark plays in the same league as me and we have got them in a few weeks just before the worlds start, also played with him when we was kids for the boys club, unbelievable pool player and a decent price at 6/1 too win the world snooker in a couple of weeks.

it can be a bit tip tap, leicester ladies know how to drag a game out, and some play in the lower leagues on thursdays, tap, snooker cover the pocket, some games go on past midnight.

yeah, we've had to get the clock out when our game went too the doubles, even though we don't use a clock on thursdays we had to do something, 5 minutes talking then tuck up or cover a pocket

best thing about world rules is the shot clock, no faffing.

Hey, good to see a few pool players on here, and it sounds like you guys lay to a good standard. Theres alot of good players up north too, you know. The hotbed of talent seems to be the Stoke area at the moment.
