I can't believe Walcott is in the squad really. He might be the next best thing, but he's played no matches!

SWP hasn't played enough either really, and i've not been impressed with him at Chelsea. Someone else needs to buy him and get him playing again. Lennon is a more than better replacement, he's been on fire for Spurs, and i think he deserves to go.

Defoe isn't a team player in my eyes. Too selfish, and i'm glad he's missed out. He's like Joe Cole was a couple of years back....wanting to impress too much. When he gets a good team ethic like Joe Cole has nowadays, he can be in the squad.

Ledley King hasn't been fit enough either, and is only a borderline player anyway.

We could end up with a Walcott/Crouch starting strike pair! World beaters or what!

Well, Im suprised by that. I dont think Sol Campbell deserves to be in there. Carragher, Rio, Terry, all fine.
Whats going on up front though! we look short!! 3 strikers and one of them has played no matches this season..

I Knew he wouldn't fit in that team. He is too honest for a start, he should of gone to Arsenal, followed in his fathers footsteps and become a legend. But no, Chelsea fucked it all up. Cheers Abramovic, Kenyon, Mourinho (despite it not being his choice to have him probably) D I S G R A C E F U L

love to agree with you there but he only has himself to blame. before he signed for Chelsea he had the choice of going to the Reds (LFC) but greed prevailed against all the advice from fans, fellow professionals about it ruining his England chances.

True Chelsea seem to buy players to stop other teams using them against them and will pay massively over the odds to do so, but the player's no1 motivation has to be cash and a gentle push from his agent.

lennon instead of swp was automatic due to swp not being in form or even playing

downing was a cert to go for me becuase he can use his left foot and beat people.

i must say im pretty happy with the squad apart from we maybe look a little light up front. i would replace defoe on the standby list with ROBBIE FOWLER and thats from a spurs fan. only other qualm , like i say is hargreaves coz he is dog shit
