I Climbed Scafell pike last week, Very proud of the accomplishment! I think its something every englishman should do, climb to the top of the country... I took loads of pictures, this is one of em..
It was a nice clear day! one of the very best in my life

this is a surprise!
35 years ago, when i was young, I did the same with my school.
I remember stood at the top wearing a yellow plastic mac with the hood tied up and listening to the rain tapping on my head n stuff. some of the most memorable and wonderful moments of our lives are simple and almost stupid!!!
Britain s a beautiful place, even for an Irishman!!!

Glad you are holding onto to that memory. Its a great place, a great walk, and a great set of views once your up there!
Id do it again anytime. Its superb.
