Favourite Crisps

Post by maverick69 »

As players we have all eaten a lot of bar snacks and things over the years. Ive been on a diet recently ....i started at 18 stone, standing at 6ft 3. Im now down to 16 and a half stone. I was thinking today what were the things that made me so huge over the years. Then i thought of the best crisps I've ever eaten , BRANNIGANS.....ive not seen them in ages. Now this thick cut crisp is the nicest bar snack in my opinion, Ham and pickle.....Beef and Mustard and the elusive Lamb and mint.

'FOR YEARS BRANNIGANS HAVE BEEN THE LOCH NESS MONSTER OF CRISPS , MANY SITINGS HAVE BEEN REPORTED BUT NO FIRM EVIDENCE EVER PRODUCED'

ive never had have the lamb and mint.....who has on here?? ......i need to try them .

whats yours ?

Walkers toasted cheese from a few years ago were nice, remember eating them at school so must 20 odd years ago, Yellow packet if i remember correctly, not sure why they stopped doing them? I've tried mint and lamb Brannigans many moons ago, but preferred the ham and mustard, them Roysters used to be nice, never see them any more, you hardly see disco's or frisp's either which again are nice, i usually go for the old cheese McCoys, everywhere sells them.

ham and mustard are pretty good , i must admit.
i have had the lamb and mint a few years ago but reckon the h+m are better.

i also like marmite ones and have started having those salt'n'shake ones recently probably because my local asda seem to be pushing them bigtime

Yeah, nik naks are nice, pringles also take some beating, once you pop you can't stop is about right, anyone else put a quid in them vending machines in pubs to find you barely get half a can? Bloody rip off lol.
