OK. After the opening ceremony, I have to ask.. did you think that was good?

Personally I think the beguining bit about the industrial revolution was brilliant!
From there it went down hill. Although some of the music was good.
That NHS bollocks... I know its a 'national treasure' but I would rather the country went private. I have seen first hand what the NHS is about. A&E brilliant but anything else then fuck it, the Labour party destroyed anything the NHS stood for when they destroyed what being English/British is about

we have to remember that many countries dont have a nhs equivalent ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, if you dont have private health insurance , you die end of

so no matter how shabbily run and underfunded our nhs is ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, at least we have one

i piss about alot on here with my fictional heroes ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but the doctors and nurses of the nhs are our real super heroes .

ps , i watched the entire opening ceremony and thought it was superb ,,,,,,,,,, a real proud to be british moment

Isn't it ironic how 1000's manages to keep the opening ceremony a secret, but a handful of players can't keep their mouths shut.

Its funny how a thread on the Olympics immediately gets hijacked by the usual people grinding their usual axes.

The Torries said the opening ceremony was too left wing, what a load of bollocks.

Many times this nation is put down by other countries, and many times by it's own citizens.

Personally, I felt extremely proud to be British throughout the performances.

Perhaps those who thought it was crap are miserable by nature or just being silly.
You all enjoyed it really.
