Alton towers

Post by trayhop123 »

went today ,,,,,,,,,,, found nowt that wasn't there 2 years ago etc . still the same old 5 quidders .

only briefly looked as my duty to fellow fruitchatters .

i was there for the rides etc ,,,,,,,,,,,,, THIRTEEN is great , as is rita , and sonic spinwall

new one for 2012 is nemesis sub terror ,,,,,,,,,,,, pretty underwelming really

picked the best day for it ( term week day ) , ,,,,,,,, never que'd for nothing longer than 10 mins ,,,,,,,,,,,,, and we had half price tickets so it was great ,,,,,,,, wouldn't have wanted to pay 42 quid each .

food is expensive as always ,,,,,,,, and for smokers , 20 b,n,h are 9quid ,,, wtf ???? ,,,,,,,, but at least you can buy a drink bottle for a 5ver with unlimited refills.

me and the missus went for 2 days with the 2 for 1 passes, got 2 days on there each for 47quid i think then about 55quid for a travel lodge 10miles away (booked in advance) didnt bother with any machines, I did enjoy air, 13 and rita was crazy. Sonic pinball is a laugh. I went at halloween so there was the scare fest with zombie walk thru and another one in the dome next to oblivion. Did you try hex trayhop mate?

I went to Thorpe park yesterday, stealth is amazing 0-80mph in 2.3 seconds........defiantly worth queuing extra for the front too!
Saw ride is pretty good and the swarm not bad either but stealth knocks them out the park even tho it only lasts 8seconds!
