car issues

Post by trayhop123 »

i seem to go through car crashes about as often as anfield gets nicked lol

last one , i was stationary at red lights ffs , when a ranger rover shunted me.

anyhow ive been driving a brand new (61 plate , 498 miles on clock ,,,, i'll soon sort that out lol) hyundai i10 courtesy car for the last week or so, which they are fetching on the 4th april .

admiral have issued me a cheque for a grand ( pleasantly surprised for an 02ka)

got the hassle of finding another now .

ebay , auto trader , gumtree it is then.

gonna look for another ka first , then broaden my search.

I sympathize with you my friend. I've had my MX-5 (lol hairdresser roflcopter!!11one) for over 4 years and it's been a magnet for trouble. People can't see it out of their back windows and just plough into it. It's had a new front offside wing panel, new door panel, new rear bumper and could do with a new front number plate and plinth, all from 4 separate incidents. The number plate incident was when someone in front of me at the Severn Bridge tolls dropped a coin on the floor and decided to reverse back to pick it up. They didn't know I was there until they hit me.

Cracking car though and great fun - even more fun than a RAM cleared Caesar's Palace on 88%.

Bloody car bills have been a joke for me this past month.
Turbo seized on the A4 (a known fault), which caused other problems too.
Cost to repair: £1,480

Gearbox, clutch & flywheel on the A3.
Cost to repair: £1,523

Blast!

My Toyota Yaris 1.4 does a mighty 59 mpg. Complete with a player wipe facility and iPod connectivity, what more could you want? I'm slowly upgrading my vehicle choice, with long term plans of getting a black BMW X5.

I like motors but don't know anything about them. I'll probably clock some miles on the Yaris then bin it off.
